I think Angelina may have about 1/2 M Fans in the U.S. out of 350 Million people. She is still an Unknown and has a long way to go to become what we call an “A-List” Artist. I’m with her until I’m gone. I’m in all the way. She has the potential to become an “Icon”. Part of being an Icon is also “Longevity”. Angelina is only 18yo with 11 yrs experience. She just graduated from High School last year. She is being managed just right to prevent her candle from burning from both ends and cutting her career way too short. I also am anxiously waiting to see the Industry give her the recognition she truly deserves, but a large part of that, in today’s world, is financial success with her music; and that, can come only from Fans who buy her music. I always felt sorry for Ivan, her L.A. guitar player, he was really dunked into the deep end of the pool when he took on Angelina! Egil, his Norwegian counterpart, encountered Angelina early and was on the same wavelength - he was familiar with all the songs Angelina was into. Ivan, on the other hand, was not prepared. I saw an interview with him, describing his Angelina experience and, in a nutshell: "We started rehearsing an old song I had never heard before, and when I was just getting the hang of it, the session went to 'record' and it was over". Make no mistake, Ivan is a good guitar player but his repertoire was not really compatible with pre-teen Angelina, the "old soul".

What has always impressed me the most is how Angelina sort of goes off-beat during the last few bars, yet to perfectly sync up with the ending of this karaoke track.

I truly enjoy Angelina's rendition more than Beyonce's. Her 'Billie Holiday' jazz roots allow her to emote on a level that 'Pop' singers can't match, no matter how great they are. It is simply the magic of jazz, and when you're a jazz specialist on a level with Billie and then Angelina it just separates you from other singers. Billie was the most improvisational singer of all time and has mentored Angelina beautifully
